Alice Connor - Artistic Practitioner

I was 19 when I started volunteering as a mentor for The Theatre Shed, my main reason for this was to use my experience as an actress to encourage and support the members of this local theatre group. But it became much more than that. I began to develop a passion for Shed's ethos of inclusivity, so much so that iI decided to go to university to study psychology with the aim of getting into Educational Psychology (helped along by a brilliant reference from Shed!).

I have now been at Shed for 6 years and have completed my first class degree. I aspire to be in a position to facilitate the change in society that Shed achieves with ease every week. No boundaries, an open door for all where anything and everything is possible!

Fiona Watson - Lead Practitioner

Fiona started her journey back in 6th form where her passion for drama started. She studied Drama at Chesham Park Community College then went on to do a HND Course which finished with a BA HONS in Drama and English Literature. Fiona is now working as a Learning Support Assistant and is enjoying it very much as she loves to work with children (and secretly she is a child at heart!).

Fiona has been with Shed for 7 years! She started as a young member, went on to be a youth Practitioner and then joined the Artistic team. She has never looked back since!

Tina Hearnden - Office Manager

Tina joined the TTS team as a volunteer early in 2015, it was suggested that as she runs her own decluttering and organising business, perhaps these skills could be put to good use following the move to CYC and trying to find a home for the wealth of costumes, props and associated items that are used in the weekly workshops and shows - this of course continues to be an ongoing challenge :-).  However, having attended Secretarial College straight from school and much more recently having also worked in a variety of roles for a large soft drinks company, Tina is now supporting in the additional capacity of Office Manager.
