Parveiz is a semi-retired teacher, with over 38 years of experience in science including senior management. “I have lived in Chesham since 1982: married with three children who have all graduated from local schools. With all the community work I did from 1983 onwards both locally, nationally and internationally, I was blessed with the Queens’s honours in 2008 for the services to the community of Chesham and Bucks.

“I am actively involved with many local, national and international groups as an adviser, providing leadership, coaching and support as required: South East Sunday Cricket league, National Asian Cricket Council, The Citizens Foundation (education for girls around the world), The Community Heartbeat Trust, Bucks LTA tennis, Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator for Sunnyside Road, Chesham CC, Chesham Mosque, member of the Chesham Rotary Club and director of ‘Peace in the Park’ to mention, just a few!”

“I joined Shed because I feel I can help support with the breadth and depth of knowledge I have in education and the wider community.”
