Meet the team
Holly Rivans - Administrator/ parent liaison
Holly's journey in Events Management began during her university years, leading her to a local company where she organized drama-based training workshops. Her love for drama ignited in childhood, nurtured through participation in local drama groups. Over the span of a decade managing these workshops, Holly witnessed firsthand the profound impact of drama and theatre on individuals, driving behavior and culture change among diverse clients through facilitation techniques.
Proudly donning the Shed team's purple hoodie, Holly revels in the variety of tasks that come her way. Supporting the Artistic Team is not just a responsibility but a source of fulfillment, ensuring the smooth operation of workshops and holiday schemes. Welcoming new members into the theatre shed family and engaging with parents and carers to share the team's exciting endeavors are moments that Holly cherishes.
In her role, Holly strives to maintain the office's efficiency, guaranteeing seamless workshop and event experiences for all involved. Her early experiences attending The Theatre Shed workshops highlighted the safe and welcoming environment that empowers members to embrace their talents and confidence—a mission she wholeheartedly supports to continue offering safe spaces for individuals.
Having been a lifelong resident of Chesham, Holly has long admired the inspiring work of The Theatre Shed, making joining the organization a dream come true. The impactful winter show "Grow Up" solidified her belief that this role is not merely a job but a meaningful journey with The Theatre Shed.
To Holly, The Theatre Shed isn't just an acting company; it's a community where individuals find something special, forge friendships, and have fun. She encourages support through donations to ensure the continued provision of inclusive safe spaces and the organisation of lively community events.
